My family are pretty big into horse racing. We have five racehorses all trained in Newmarket, England, and they are named after everyone in the family. We’ve had some really good days out racing because of the horses. Two of the highlights definitely have to be Sir Gerard winning the Britannia Cup at Royal Ascot 2006 and then Sir Gerry winning the Group 2 Gimcrack stakes last August at York. One of my brothers who is doing his Leaving Cert this year is training to be an apprentice jockey. I’ve done a bit of horse riding during the summer now and again but just for fun!
