Bio: Started running when I was 12 in Ring College where I learned Irish for the year. Progressed slowly but made a breakthrough while at St Columba’s in Rathfarnham and ran 1:51 and was second in the Irish Schools. Never won a Schools title though. Went and studied English at Notre Dame where I achieved an Honours degree as well as being inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta society for International English scholars. Now I’m training under Enrique Pascual in Soria Spain. Enrique is the man who coached the last European to an Olympic 1500m title (Fermin Cacho, 1992).
